You’ll notice a lot of familiar titles: some I’ve reviewed here recently; others have been hanging around since last month. It’s high time I actually read some of these – especially the Elizabeth Gilbert, for which I have high hopes. It’s a long Bank Holiday weekend coming up here in the UK, so maybe I’ll use that as the excuse to sink into a nice long library book…

It must be UK-only. The hardback also has a built-in ribbon bookmark — *swoon*! I have high expectations for this one.

I just bough the Bishop/Lowell correspondence a few months ago! I keep waiting to dip into it, but maybe I should this weekend. . .

I’ve been reading about 10 pages at a time and have gradually gotten to page 100 (just 1/8 of the way through!). I’m liking it even though I know hardly anything by or about the two poets. It’s a nice window onto their time period and circle.

That really is a gorgeous cover of The Signature of All Things…and a long weekend would be the PERFECT time to sit down and read it. Such a good book!

Definitely. I probably haven’t read one of her books in over 20 years, and I’ve never tried any of her adult novels. I’ve heard favourable things about this one.
